BYU’s 2022 institutional message “Light Shared” introduces the university to the world. The spot, which is being aired during broadcasts of BYU football and basketball games, shares these truths:
Some of the best, most lasting learning happens when we serve, when we experience, when we connect as children of God in real lasting ways. It’s what we call Inspiring Learning. Learning that inspires us to create a better world, to do and be better, to expand joy. After all, light shared is the best kind of light.
Inspiring Learning remains the university’s top fundraising priority. “I hope we inspire our students to learn. And I hope that learning leads to inspiration,” says President Kevin J Worthen. “When both things happen, inspiring learning occurs, and we can then know we are on the right track to achieve the core goals set forth in our mission statement.”
