To Build a Temple
1. Funding
Funds are set aside in advance so that temples can be built without using other financing.
2. Site Selection
After identifying an area where a temple is needed, Church leaders prayerfully seek out a location where the temple will be serviceable and will complement the environment.
3. Design
Architects plan designs that reflect and complement local settings while incorporating energy-efficient features.
4. Construction
Each temple is constructed with the finest materials and craftsmanship and is built to withstand aging.
5. Completion
Following the completion of construction, the public is invited to tour the temple during the open house.
6. Dedication
Once the temple is dedicated, Church members are encouraged to attend the temple regularly and visitors are welcome to walk the grounds.
