Maternal and Newborn Care is one of many Humanitarian Services programs under Church Welfare. As Elder Jeffrey R. Holland traveled in a developing part of the world, he spoke with a young nurse who had witnessed a baby’s life being saved through resuscitation. Along with several other nurses and physicians, she had recently received neonatal resuscitation training from Humanitarian Services volunteers. Elder Holland shares his prayer for all of us in A Child’s First Breath.
