Man carrying garbage bag outside helping with the Maui wildfire cleanup

Humanitarian Services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints promotes individual and family disaster preparedness through training programs and materials. It offers immediate emergency assistance to victims of natural and man-made disasters by providing short-term, life-sustaining resources such as food, water, shelter, clothing, medical, school, and hygiene supplies.  Under the direction of local leadership, volunteers distribute supplies, participate in cleanup efforts, and assist other relief organizations.  Trained professionals and volunteers deliver employment, social/emotional, and spiritual support to help disaster victims recover.
