Two Ways to Keep BYU-Hawaii in Your Heart
Give back to help students.
Did you know 2 out of 3 students receive fincancial aid through the university? Donations to BYU–Hawaii support students in need, and every dollar helps. When we all give a little, we can help a lot.

“I’m Pita Rabuka from Fiji. I attended BYU–Hawaii as an IWORK student. Because of generous donors, my family and I have been blessed abundantly, and now I’m giving back. Since I’m just beginning my career and money is tight, I set up small recurring donations so it won’t be hard on me, and I feel the peace that comes from helping others.”
Frequently Asked Questions
How much of my donation will go to students?
All of your donation will go directly to students in the form of financial aid. Not a single penny goes to overhead or administration.
Who will receive my donation?
You can choose to help international students by giving to the IWORK Fund, or you can choose to support merit-based scholarships for all students by giving to the General Scholarship Fund.
Can just a few dollars really make a difference?
Yes, every dollar counts. None of us could make much of a difference on our own, but when we pull together as a BYU–Hawaii ohana, we can help hundreds of students in need.
How can I magnify my impact?
Glad you asked. Try one of these:
- Find out if your employer or your spouse’s employer will match your donation by visiting give.byuh.edu/matchgift.
- Set up an automatic, recurring donation that will add up over time.
Thank You
We hope you’ll stay connected and find ways to help those who will follow in your footsteps.
