Keynote Speaker: B. Howard Pearson, JD Development Legal Counsel and Senior Philanthropic Advisor, Stanford University
B. Howard Pearson is the Development Legal Counsel and Senior Philanthropic Advisor at Stanford University and a lecturer at the Stanford Law School where he teaches two courses: Trusts and Estates and Estate Planning. He graduated from Stanford (BS 1976) and the University of Utah (JD 1979). He joined the firm of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, where he was an associate and partner in the field of estate planning for fifteen years before joining Stanford in 1995. For many years, Mr. Pearson was a co-editor of California Probate Practice with Matthew Bender.
Sessions included discussions on recent developments in estate planning, taxable gifting, and non-grantor charitable lead trusts.
