BYU-Pathway Worldwide Fund
Through donations to the BYU-Pathway Worldwide Fund, thousands of students around the world are blessed with the opportunity to obtain an education in a spiritually based environment and gain better employment. BYU-Pathway Worldwide has more than 41,000 students at over 500 Pathway sites in more than 100 countries.
Winston Tjong-Ayang of Tammenga, Suriname, is a great example of those who are blessed by your donations. A few years ago, Winston felt impressed to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints instead of finishing his mechanical engineering degree. When he returned home, his school said he couldn’t continue the program. Just before losing hope, he remembered hearing about BYU-Pathway. “Heavenly Father opened another door for me,” says Winston. “BYU-Pathway is the reason I am able to continue my studies, and I’m so grateful.”
The BYU-Pathway Worldwide Fund helps students like Winston to continue their education when circumstances wouldn’t otherwise allow it. This fund lets BYU-Pathway address current student aid needs where they are greatest around the world. All contributions are placed in a large pool, and earnings are spendable at the discretion of the institution.
Blessing Returned Missionaries
When missionaries like Winston return home, they are filled with hope and are ready to progress in life. Unfortunately, many return to circumstances that are not conducive to continuing their spiritual progression or improving their lives through education. We have found that when a returned missionary is offered a scholarship as a result of their faithful service, they are filled with hope and confidence that they can improve their lives and receive the help and support they need to accomplish their goals.
The BYU-Pathway Worldwide Fund blesses students who have recently completed their missions but need financial assistance to begin or continue their education. By donating to this fund, you are fostering the growth of the Church and its members throughout the world. Your donation will help educate disciples of Jesus Christ who are leaders in their homes, the Church, and their communities.
