Reaching Her Full Potential
Daisy Daniel feels her project management program at LDSBC has been a direct answer to her prayers for direction.
Daisy Daniel, a project management student from India, wants to be a project manager for a major company in the IT field. But it hasn’t always been that clear to her. Even after receiving a bachelor’s degree in business administration at a women’s Christian college in India, she felt no purpose in her life. “I started praying about what to do in my life, and I got an answer and started preparing to come here for the project management program,” Daisy says.
Daisy loves project management because, she says, “it’s not just reading and writing, it’s putting the things we learn in class to practical use on real projects.” One class project she enjoyed was traveling to Bear Lake with a team to do research. “I kept track of all the expenses.”
Daisy’s on-campus job is working for the accreditation and licensing team. “I love who I work with,” she says. “I’m working on a huge project here at the college, and I have a chance to work for Amazon in April. I’m really trying to reach my full potential.”
