“What scholarships do is make opportunities for students possible that previously seemed impossible,” says Craig Nelson of Ogden, Utah. Craig and his wife, Heather, enjoyed a long association—more than 22 years—with LDS Business College before he retired as a vice president in 2017. Now, as the new co-chairs of the F. Y. and Anna Fox Society, they are excited to continue serving students at a place they have a great fondness for.
“We’ve been really grateful to be involved in the effort of lifting and strengthening young people at the college,” says Heather. “Having a legacy gift makes it possible for us to have a bigger influence than we could otherwise,” says Craig. “It’s about the opportunity to give. It’s taken years to learn it, but there are great blessings to being a charitable giver, and we hope to help many others learn this same lesson.”
